A LETTER TO MY UNBORN DAUGHTER

            Letter to my unborn daughter

Dear beloved Jewel,

It is behoveful that I write this letter to you at this stage of my life. You exist in a calm peaceful and scrupulous world which you desire to remain but nature and your maker's plan would not allow. It is from the deepest depth of my heart that I write to you seeing the distance between you and I now is time.

I am a kind, loving and gentle father who is phlegmatic in temperament which makes me easy going but not sluggish. There's a combination of the sanguine and phlegmatic temperaments in me making me sanphleg in reality meaning that I am easy going and full of hope and optimism about life and these have made me easily aligned to my purpose in life. I know you will understand what I'm saying when you arrive this world because you'd be privileged to discover yours as well under my fatherhood thereby living a fulfilled life.

It will interest you to know how I love children and would love to have them more in my house but God willing I will limit my child bearing to four with twins among them for I admire them very much and wouldn't mind if God gives me two sets of twins with you as the first, second or third daughter or even my last child among two boys. I'm very certain you'd enjoy the union between you and your siblings who would also love and cherish you as your mum and I would do always to you all.

Your mum and I would be the best parents ever known as that is the desire of every man and woman living here in my world. Though I haven't met her, we shall surely meet ourselves in due time and we're striving to better utilise our God-given potentials while apart without giving in to diverse distracting elements appearing in form of sexual lust, reckless living, lack of fear of God and the likes  so we could have a perfect family ordained by God our perfect Maker.

Please note that as your father, though living life in my world is not funny at all, I shall do the best within my ambiance to instruct and train you up in alignment with God's purpose for you. I shall teach you to uphold your God-given identity which will bring about your dignity as you live saintly in sanctity and possess God's desires for you in chastity. I will teach you that your virginity is your pride as a child growing to become a pretty lady who finally becomes a virtuous woman; the heart desire of every man as a wife.

My society thinks it is rare to find the kind of woman you would become because it is torn between prejudice and justice accepting sanity as normalcy but I will support you to be the change your society needs in behaviour, career path and other aspects of your life as I am striving to be right now. I have struggled many times in my life's journey to be educated, follow a career path and gain financial freedom as a result of so many circumstances which were never envisaged in the innocency of my heart while growing up and it is my heart yearning that you and your siblings do not encounter same.

As I conclude this first phase of my letter, I know you're not the only one reading it now and I know some of your co-readers may have mixed feelings about what I've written so far, all I want you to know is that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and perception of life's issues and I need you to see all I've written from your Maker's perspective. I hope to write to you again as soonest. Till then, keep flourishing.

Your lovesome father,
PraiseGod Wome.

This letter is dedicated to all the lovely fathers worldwide who through the fear of God raise sons and daughters who grow up to become change agents in their society. And more importantly to all the beautiful and elegant daughters of Zion who uphold sanity in an insane society. Shalom!
