DIGNITY IS A GREAT VIRTUE 

Dignity is the state or quality of being worthy of honour or respect.  The only way we can secure our dignity is by not being lazy with our work. A lazy person will loose his/her dignity. A lazy pastor/ prophet will loose his/ her dignity if he/ she refuses to work. A pastor that refuse to study the bible, pray or do spiritual activities will end up loosing his/ her dignity. 

They are the types that go from house to house of their church members, eating different kinds of food. Tell me how the church members will respect such a pastor. A full time pastor finding it hard to study the bible, to pray, and be creative with the things of God and develop self in all ramification but only wait for church members to bring offering and tithe before having something to eat or take care of the family will end up loosing his/her dignity. 

I have observed that nobody wants to operate in these offices anymore;

  • Pastor 
  • Evangelist 
  • Teacher

Everybody wants to be a prophet, everybody want to see vision and revelation weather or not they are called. A lazy person will surely fall prey to the fake prophets all  around everywhere in our society. Lazy people are the ones looking for miracles everywhere. They are looking for quick money, they don’t want to labour nor work hard. These are the people that lose their dignity cheaply (Proverb 14:23).

My dear, if you have a business you are doing, or you are working under a boss, be patient, don’t look at people, look at God. God is saying; be patient in that little business you are doing, very soon God will multiply it, He also promised to bless the work of your hands (Deuteronomy 28:12). So, don’t be lazy in your work (Proverbs 12:11).

Lazy people engage in fraud, they look for quick money. They beg to eat and even if they borrow, they don’t return it because of their laziness. A man that refuses to provide for his family, the bible said he is worse than an infidel. (1 Timothy 5:8) 

So, any man that always waits for his wife to come back from work [the wife you didn’t give money before she went out in the morning, you are now waiting for her before you can eat] needs a cane as well as a tight deliverance. If you continue like that as a man, you will surely one day loose your dignity and respect because you will end up begging to eat.

God doesn’t  like lazy people. The reason so many are not fulfilling purpose is because they can’t handle the work and assignment given to them by God. More so, they are lazy in carrying out instructions giving by God. They look for easy way to get it done. If you are lazy, you can’t walk with God.

WHY ARE THEY FOLLOWING YOU? Do you really know why some people follow you or look up to you? Some people follow you because of the riches you possess while others follow you because of the God you carry. Some will want to be your friend because you have connections to big places in form of companies and the likes.  Do you know why many people followed Jesus from the start but only few of them followed him to the place of his crucifixion? Some left him because he was not rich with material things. Many left him because he said the truth.
