FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ON SECOND WAVE OF COVID-19 LOCKDOWN

Minister for Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed has insisted that there won’t be another lockdown by the Federal Government despite the increasing cases of COVID-19 in the country. It was gathered that the Minister made this disclosure while speaking at a conference in Lagos state on Monday. He, however, appealed to Nigerians to adhere to all protocols outlined by the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, such as observing social distancing, wearing of face masks in public areas and so on. The Minister's statement reads, “On the issue of lockdown, I don’t think there is any time when the Federal Government has said it is going to have a second lockdown.
