WHO IS YOUR MENTOR? (Psalm 62 vs 4)

Who mentors you controls your life positively or negatively. A mentor is a wise and trusted counselor or teacher. But the truth is that we must be careful of those who we trust to be our mentors. We have a lot of people out there that bless with mouth and curse you in the heart.

Pastor will lay hands on you, you thinking he’s blessing you but inwardly he’s cursing you. Your Prophet might be blessing you With his mouth open without his heart being open to you.

If someone who is mentoring you is not doing all that he is preaching, why listening to such person? Allow people that do what they preach mentor you. 

Listen to those that do what they preach. A son of a drunkard will always be a drunkard. A son of a lier will always be a lier. A son of the most high will always be the  son of the most high. Who you listen to Controls you.

Holy Spirit is the best mentor. He will not pretend to you, He will not lead you astray. More so, He will guide you and protect you if you permit him to be your mentor. Let’s check out so many books written by pastors, prophet, bishop, motivational speakers. Most of these books are true while some are full of lies.

Check the books you read. Some of these books assumed to say the truth, check the life of the writer and see if he/she is doing what is written in his/her books.

Have observe people don’t read books any more They read us. Just like what the Bible says, 'we are the book the world is reading.' Even some of our children now don’t read books again, they read what they can see.

So people of God It’s time we give room for Holy Spirit To Teach and guides us all in all our dealings in life so that we can have a fulfilling life.

WHY ARE THEY FOLLOWING YOU? Do you really know why some people follow you or look up to you? Some people follow you because of the riches you possess while others follow you because of the God you carry. Some will want to be your friend because you have connections to big places in form of companies and the likes.  Do you know why many people followed Jesus from the start but only few of them followed him to the place of his crucifixion? Some left him because he was not rich with material things. Many left him because he said the truth. DIGNITY IS A GREAT VIRTUE  Dignity is the state or quality of being worthy of honour or respect.   The only way we can secure our dignity is by not being lazy with our work. A lazy person will loose his/her dignity. A lazy pastor/ prophet will loose his/ her dignity if he/ she refuses to work. A pastor that refuse to study the bible, pray or do spiritual activities will end up loosing his/ her dignity.  They are the types that go from house to house of their church members, eating different kinds of food. Tell me how the church members will respect such a pastor.
