RUINS IN OUR HOMES; FAULTY FOUNDATION!

What is foundation?
To me, foundation is what we build or lay with our own hands thereby building upon it. Most of our parents are the foundational problem of their marriages and families. Some fathers/mothers have already built their marriage on the foundation of lies, hatred, deceit, selfish interest, tribalism and so on. It’s a pity.

When the foundation of your marriage is built on GOD AND GOD ALONE, the will of God in the lives of your children will be easy to do, when they discover the will of God for their lives, you as a parent will have peace in your old age. But when you train up your own children with regards to selfish interest, just be ready to get disappointed because you will be disappointed when your children discover the will of their Heavenly Father and to do it. That is when we hear most parents say "my child is disobedient because he has refused to do my will as his parent."

That is why the Bible says in Ephesians 6:1; Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

The Bible does not say 'parents in the world' but 'parents in the Lord'. Some parents still claim to be in the Lord, but still give ungodly counsel of the world to their children unknowingly to them, because they lack the understanding of being in the Lord. When we read further to verse 2 of the same chapter in Ephesians; it says; Honour thy father and thy mother which is the first commandment with a promise. The word “HONOUR” stands for respect and not “FEAR”.
But today there are so many children that are so much afraid of their parents than God Almighty. So Many adults can’t tell their parents the truth in respect because they are afraid, so many adults are scared to make decisions for the life God has given them not their parents, so many adults are saying "God wants me to do his will but my parents are against the will of God for my life saying it’s not God."

When we look at most children that have grown up to become adults, they obey their parents rather than God their Maker, they fear their parents more rather than their Maker, and that is why they are still where they are waiting for their parents' approval and not God’s approval, that is the reason when it comes to the time for them to get married, they wait for their parents to choose the right partners for them so they won’t disobey their parents. It’s a pity.


This write up is for the children of their parents that are grown up to become adults, please tell your parents the truth, telling them the truth does not mean you’re being disrespectful or rude. There comes a time in life that parents teach their children and when they are grown ups, the children open their eyes to the truth the more and they also teach their parents.

And to our parents, please be teachable, allow your children to teach you things you might not know, don’t say "I'm your mother/father and you must listen to me alone." NO! In this dispensation, God speaks to the children concerning his will for their lives than speaking to their parents.

WHY ARE THEY FOLLOWING YOU? Do you really know why some people follow you or look up to you? Some people follow you because of the riches you possess while others follow you because of the God you carry. Some will want to be your friend because you have connections to big places in form of companies and the likes.  Do you know why many people followed Jesus from the start but only few of them followed him to the place of his crucifixion? Some left him because he was not rich with material things. Many left him because he said the truth. DIGNITY

DIGNITY IS A GREAT VIRTUE  Dignity is the state or quality of being worthy of honour or respect.   The only way we can secure our dignity is by not being lazy with our work. A lazy person will loose his/her dignity. A lazy pastor/ prophet will loose his/ her dignity if he/ she refuses to work. A pastor that refuse to study the bible, pray or do spiritual activities will end up loosing his/ her dignity.  They are the types that go from house to house of their church members, eating different kinds of food. Tell me how the church members will respect such a pastor.
