In a society where diverse ills thrive and its systems seem to support all the tracks and paths to the anomalies  through its tools of which music is no exception, few determined and good spirited Nigerians have chosen to be the change and solution their country much desire. The life of one of these young fellows is not without challenges and difficulties but has a message for many others. The chairman of the Nigerian Governors' Forum, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, the Governor of Ekiti State has directed the state's Attorney General (AG) and the commissioner for justice to refuse rape offenders plea bargaining and bail application. He has also pledged to use his office as the chairman of the Governor's Forum to work together with his co-governors in ensuring that rape offenders don't go unpunished. He further signed a bill protecting children from sexual violence into law. The bill was recently passed by the state house of assembly and entitled "Compulsory Treatment and Care for Child Victims of Sexual Violence Law, 2020." This is a laudable effort. Don't you think so? If all the Nigerian Governors act likewise, in no distant time the Nigerian society will be a rape free zone. What do you think? Edited by PraiseGod Wome
